From controller to recorded set: build a small library, beatmatch by ear, mix on the phrase, and record a clean 20-minute mix.

With beginners, I focus on fundamentals: choosing a first controller and software, organizing your music, beatmatching by ear, and putting together a clean twenty-minute mix. Record a practice mix and text it to me, and on our next call I’ll tell you exactly where the transitions are working and where they aren’t.
15 minutes. Tell me where you are, I'll tell you what I'd do.
