Through curated Guides and conversations with real hobbyists ("Buddies"), you get the clarity, encouragement, and direction you need to begin again. We're here to help you start, restart, or simply feel inspired.

Because many of us already know what we love, we just got busy. Rekindle helps you remember, rediscover, and reignite that spark.

YouTube is great for watching. Rekindle is great for starting. We offer personalized guidance, beginner-friendly pathways, real people you can talk to, cozy, curated steps, and a community built around rediscovery, not algorithms. If Google is a library, Rekindle is the friend who helps you pick the right shelf.

Perfect. You are exactly who Rekindle was created for. Our Guides assume no prior experience. Buddies remember what it felt like to be beginners themselves, so they offer simple starting points, clear explanations, and emotional reassurance. Whether you're picking up a camera, a sketchbook, a guitar, or a pair of hiking boots, everyone starts somewhere. We'll help you take the first step.

It depends on the hobby, your pace, and how often you explore it. Some hobbies show quick wins (like photography or cooking). Others unfold more slowly (like drawing or an instrument). Rekindle encourages gentle progress, not pressure. Celebrate small steps. Momentum matters more than mastery.

Not necessarily! Many hobbies can be started with borrowed items, budget-friendly alternatives, everyday household objects, or no equipment at all. Our Guides often include sections like "Start with what you have." If equipment is helpful, Buddies may share recommendations, including third-party links or affiliate links. Always review safety instructions and evaluate what's right for you.

Then you've learned something important: what doesn't spark joy. Exploration is part of the journey. You are free to try as many hobbies as you want, no guilt, no pressure.

Each Buddy has a profile that shares their background, their experience with the hobby, their style of guidance, what they enjoy helping with, and reviews (if available). You can browse freely and choose someone who feels aligned with the way you like to learn. There's no "right" choice, just the one that makes you feel curious and comfortable.

Buddies offer virtual, low-pressure conversations. Depending on the Buddy and the hobby, you might discuss how to get started, what to avoid as a beginner, affordable equipment options, a simple roadmap for your first week or month, feedback on your early attempts, or motivation when you feel stuck. Think of it like talking to a hobby-savvy friend over a warm cup of tea.

There is no required number. Some people take one session to get quick clarity. Others enjoy ongoing check-ins as they grow. Our goal is momentum, not dependence. Even one spark can get a fire going.

If the platform offers timed sessions, they may range from 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the Buddy's format. Some Buddies may offer asynchronous (non-live) feedback instead, where they respond via messages. Session length will always be visible before you book.

All interactions are online only, through Rekindle's messaging or video tools (depending on the feature you're using). Rekindle does not facilitate in-person meetings. If a Member and Buddy independently choose to meet in person, they do so entirely at their own risk. Rekindle is not responsible for in-person interactions, safety, or outcomes.

For now, Rekindle Buddy interactions are one-on-one, designed for personalized guidance. You and your friends can each book your own session, share Guides with each other, and explore hobbies together offline. Group options may be supported in the future as the community grows.

If paid sessions are active: you'll see the price before booking, there are no hidden fees, you can choose your Buddy, and you'll receive confirmation instantly. If sessions are free or optional, the booking flow will indicate that clearly. Rekindle keeps the process simple, transparent, and pressure-free.

You'll receive a confirmation email or notification, instructions for your session format, any prep materials (if applicable), and a reminder before your session begins. During your session, you can ask anything, big or small.

Yes. Your interactions with Buddies are private within the platform. If you choose to share personal information or connect outside the platform, that is your decision. Rekindle does not encourage or supervise off-platform communication or in-person meetings.

We try our best to maintain a helpful, trustworthy space. However: we do not verify every detail, we do not background check Buddies, Guides reflect personal experience, not formal instruction, recommendations may be subjective, and information may change or become outdated. Ultimately, you are responsible for using judgment and evaluating what feels right for you.

Buddies may recommend tools they personally enjoy, and some may use affiliate links that earn them a small commission. Rekindle does not endorse, guarantee, or verify product quality, seller reliability, or safety or suitability. Always double-check product details before making a purchase.

Not now. Rekindle is entirely digital. If people choose to meet offline, that is their personal choice, not something Rekindle supervises or assumes liability for.
