I didn’t grow up skiing. My first day on snow was at thirty, at a small hill an hour from Boston, in rented boots two sizes too big. I fell a lot and still went back the next weekend. Now I ski most weekends in winter, and I’m still a little amazed that I can.
Before your first trip, we’ll talk through what to rent and what to buy, how to layer for New England cold, why a beginner lesson is worth it, and which local mountains are friendliest for first-timers. After your day on snow, call or text me and we’ll work out what to practice next, from wedges to your first parallel turns.
